SLAMN Committees and Projects
We encourage all SLAMN members to participate in one or more committees. Contact people on the committee of your interest with suggestions, ideas or to join. Each committee will keep us all informed through Nature Notes, our website, and email.

- Schedules, develops, and finds speakers/coordinators for each of the workshops in the annual course.
Promotions Committee

- Goal is to help SLAMN stay in the public eye and connect well with other affiliated groups so that the program is well known and is recommended by affiliates to anyone who may be interested.
- Have a full class (20 students) in spring 2018.
- Maintain momentum of group developing interest and adding desired activities that are well attended by past graduates and new students.
Publications Committee

- Produces a newsletter (Nature Notes) every 2 months and keeps the website updated.
- Produces brochures, flyers, business cards, organization documents and any publications required by our organization for both public and educational information.
Volunteer Committee

- Finds, plans, and executes volunteer projects that have clear ecosystem benefits and/or publicity for our chapter and the natural world.
- Priorities include outreach classes, natural space improvements for local nonprofits, public space improvements, and improvements to private property.
